With increasingly harsher mixes
now being demanded by construction engineers, Transcrete's
design team have created a new piston cup with dual lips and
manufactured from Victor Thane,
a unique wear resistant material with up to four times the
life of conventional rubber piston cup material.
Pumpers report of getting up to 1,200 hours using Transcrete's
Victor Thane single cup/ "O" ring combination.
The Results
A gold concrete piston cup has a soft lip for increased vacuum
to ensure a full cylinder of concrete with lower drag, and
a hard lip to reduce the chances of small rocks bypassing
the sealing face.
